Pillar of Lavender

That's how my daughter described a tall glass of blueberries and milk that I blended up for breakfast. When she describes mundane things which such elegance, I worry less about her report card. (She still won't tell me why she makes fun of DARPA.)

  1. Neither of your daughters are stupid, by any means. And honestly? How many mothers can claim that their children are intelligent enough to have an in-joke about something like DARPA? Just give them some time and space. Who knows what a little maturity may bring?
